I would order from this party again. Received the item promptly. It was packaged well and was exactly what I ordered.
The problem is finding it on the internet. Once replaced, the small yellow light goes out on the humidifier indicating that it is working. So far, it is working well. Bulb needs replacement after @ 2000 hours of use. Prices range from $13.00 to $24.00 It has a small bead of metal (. The bulb needs to be the one designed for the Slant/Fin humidifier, not any old UV bulb. mercury) in the bulb that acts as an activator.
We are very pleased with the service and will use it again in the future. Our filters were sent very quickly. And were exactly what we wanted.
I could have almost bought a brand new humidifier for what I foolishly paid. Wish I had seen this merchant first. I wish Amazon ranked items from low to high. $18.95 is a good price compared to what I paid. Prices vary widely on Amazon, and I paid $21.98 for this same bulb with shipping, and paid $2.53 each for those cheap made in China fiber mineral pads when outrageous shipping costs are added in.
The bulb keeps fungus and bacteria out of the water keeping it safe to breath the moisturized air.
